Messages of Sympathy

Following the sudden death of our minister The Rev Peter Macdonald, the Church has received many messages of sympathy and support. Two of these from our former minister The Rev Joanne Hood and our friends and neighbours at the Annandale Street Mosque are reproduced below.

The Kirk Session and Congregation of Broughton St Mary’s are very sad to announce the sudden death of our minister The Rev Peter Macdonald on Wednesday 12th February. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Lesley and his sons Callum and Lorn. Details of his funeral are yet to be announced.

Christmas Services

Messy Church

Messy Church is back after the summer and will meet on Saturday the 7 September, 5 October, 2 November and 7 December from 11am to 1pm (including lunch). Family Ceilidh

Broughton St Mary’s is hosting two Family Ceilidhs on Saturday 28 September and 26 October from 2 – 4pm. Come and join the fun learning well known Scottish dances and songs with the Minnow Ceilidh Band. All ages and abilities welcome. Tickets are £10 for an adult and child, and are available from the church office or Eventbrite.
